Euronews and Africanews launched on Freeview
London, 22 April 2021 – Euronews and Africanews launch on Freeview 271 via the Channelbox platform.
Euronews, Europe’s leading international news channel expands its UK presence by launching its English and Russian language editions via Channelbox on Freeview 271.
Its sister channel, Africanews, the only independent international multilingual news channel made for Africa, will also launch via Channelbox as the pan-African network celebrates this month its fifth anniversary.
Euronews in English is already available on Sky and Virgin Media, while Euronews in Russian and Africanews are making their UK debut on the biggest TV platform in the country.
